Online Surprise

Tammy Hawk will do anything to make sure that her online sleep-over

will be nothing but a blast of good old fashion fun

Logging On

Chapter 1:

A little after eight pm, Tammy Hawk, looked around her bedroom to make

sure that she had all that she needed.

For tonight’s stay up all night online party

She put her hair up, then turned on her computer.

And waited for the rest of the gang to log in

She didn’t have to wait for long, in a few minutes later.

Her computer screen was filled with five in-coming boxes

“Hey guys!” Tammy greeted them happily

“Hey, oh gross, what happened to your face?” Sammy Turtle cried out

“Whoa Tammy, are you going to serve chips with your face!”

Tommy Cub joked

“Ha-ha, very funny you guys, I’m just trying out this new facial treatment.

 That I found online

It’s a mixture of honey and sugar it’s suppose to clean out all the oil,

and dirt from your pours. And make your face feel fresher.”

 Tammy explained shrugging

“Oh cool, send us a copy of the link.”

Both Cookie and Daisy Penguin told her

“Please, don’t tell me that we’re just going to sit around

talking about facial tips all night”

 Tommy frowned

“Well, Tommy,

didn’t you say that you wanted to know what girls talked about.

When they got together.” Vicky Dragonfly laughed

“And with your hair looking as it does.

It wouldn’t hurt for you to get a few tips.”

 Daisy also laughed

“Huh?” And what’s wrong with my hair?”

Tommy whined as he combed his paw through it

“Nothing, if you’re going for that I just stuck my paw

inside a light socket look!”

 Daisy laughed even harder

“Hare, hare, you’re just jealous that yours doesn’t look as good as mines.”

 Tommy smirked.

Daisy was about to answer him back but the sound of Sammy

 coughing interrupted her

“Are you okay?” She asked him

“Yah, sorry, I was just drinking some water and it went down the wrong way.

Listening to Tommy whining about his hair.” Sammy smiled

“Hey Daisy, whatever you do don’t turn your head.” Tommy told her

“Huh? Why?”

“Cause, I think I just saw a big spider swing down from your ceiling.”

Tommy grinned

“What!” Daisy yelled before she jumped out of her chair

“Oh sorry, never mind,

it was just a piece of lent or something stuck on my screen.”

 Tommy shrugged

“Tommy, you’re such a big jerk!”

You nearly scared me half to death, you know how much I hate spiders!”

Daisy scowled him

“Okay, okay, let’s play nice in the online boxes!”

 Vicky laughed

“So, what are we going to talk about next?”

Sammy asked them

“I know, why don’t we take turns and see who can tell

 the best spookiest story.”

 Cookie suggested

Learning about Mary Blocks

Chapter 2:

“Oooh, I got a good one. It’s the story of Mary Blocks.”

Tammy told them in a spooky tone of voice

Who was Mary Blocks? They all wanted to know

“Mary Blocks, lived and died right here in Rocky Shores,

around a hundred years ago.

Not only was she welled liked, but according to legend

“She was known to throw the best winter parties.” Tammy began

“That was until she disappeared during her own party

 one winter night.” She added

“The story goes:

Mary supposal received a mysterious call during her party.

They never found out who made the call

“But whoever it was must’ve upset her so much

that it cause her to leave

suddenly without taking her coat with her.”

Tammy started to explain

“Oh wow, then what happened?” Vicky asked

“Well, noticing that Mary, was missing from the party.

They began searching for her

They found her hours later inside her shed house frozen to death

“Supposal she went in there to keep warm.

But when she closed the door all the snow

that was on the roof fell against it

“Causing it to trap her inside.” Tammy answered her

“That story was more sad then scary.” Cookie told her.

 Tammy smiled before she continued

“But the story doesn’t end there.

Some swear that her spirit never left.

It just wanders just waiting to seek her revenge

On those she believes caused her death that night.”

“And how is she going to do that when she’s already dead?”

 Tommy frowned.

Tammy smiled wider

“There have been rumors stating that on dark stormy nights like tonight

or on the night of her death which is a few days from now

“If you close your eyes, and chant her name three times.

She’ll either pop right in front of you

Or she’ll slowly haunt you night after night until she drives you insane.”

“And you believe those stupid rumors?”

 Tommy asked her smirking

“Well, there’s one way to find out. What do you say guys?”

Do you think you’re all brave enough to try?”

She shrugged with a big smirk on her face

Was it Mary?

Chapter 3:

“Now, quick open your eyes!” Tammy cried out

“Hey, Tammy, look out there’s something behind you!”

Daisy yelled out

“Ha, nice try Daisy,

I’d expect that coming from Tommy.

But sorry I’m not falling for it.” Tammy smirked

“But I’m not trying to fool you,

I really did see something cross your room.

 When I opened my eyes,

it looked like some sort of black shadow or something.”

 Daisy told her

“Oh wow, maybe, we did make some- kind of connect?”

do you guys hear that music?” Where is it coming from?”

Tammy asked before she started to look around

 her room frowning

“What music?”

And before Tammy could answer them Tommy interrupted

her by asking

“Hey, where did Daisy disappeared to?”

The gang looked and noticed that Daisy’s box was empty.

Expect for a blue light coming out of it

“Maybe, she had to go to the little girl’s room?” Cookie shrugged

“Or maybe, her computer froze. And she’s trying to log in again?”

Sammy added

“Either way, let’s give her a few minutes.

I’m sure she’ll be right back.” Tammy said

“I’m getting kind of worry. She should’ve came back on by now,

 has anyone tried calling her?”

Vicky mumbled after a few minutes

“I did.

But I keep getting her voice mail, I even tried texting her.

But she hasn’t answered me.” Cookie answered.

Tammy was about to dial Daisy’s number when she got a text

 from Cookie

“Hey, have you noticed how weird Vicky,

 has been acting ever since.

You told us that story and Daisy disappeared?”

“No, not really, weird how?” Tammy typed back

“Don’t know. But she hasn’t been acting like herself,

she sent me this weird text claiming that Daisy

 was taken by Mary’s spirit

“And that she’d be back for the rest of us.” Cookie typed

“That’s weird. Maybe she’s messing with you.”

“No, that’s not something she’d do for fun.” Cookie typed

Oh great!

Chapter 4:

Tammy was texting Cookie back and was about to hit sent.

 When Tommy cried out

“Oh great, now Cookie’ missing!”

The plot thickens

Chapter 5:

Tammy looked up from her cell phone to her computer screen

And noticed that just like Daisy’s box.

 It was light blue

“Okay, this is getting a little freaky.

 First, Daisy, now Cookie’s missing.”

Sammy frowned

“I warned her, I warned her that she’d be back.

But did she believe me and now look what happened.”

 Vicky muttered

“What are you talking about?”

You warned that who would be back?”

 Tommy asked her frowning

“Never mind, who?” I agree with Sammy.

I’ve tried calling them both but I only got their voice mail

“Why, don’t you guys,

come over and see if we can figure out what’s going on.

Before we all disappear.” Vicky answered him back.

Then after discussing it for a few more minutes they all agreed

that it’d be a good idea

Tammy rang Vicky’s doorbell for the third time and wondered

what was taking her so long to answer.

She was about to ring it one more time when Vicky opened the door

“Finally, what took you so long?”

Are the boys here yet?” She asked

“We should’ve never brought her back. She was waiting for so long

just for something to bring her back

So, she could get her revenge on all who have done her wrong.”

 Vicky mumbled

“Vicky, I don’t know what you’re talking about.

But you’re starting to creep me out,

now where are Tommy and Sammy?”

 Tammy asked frowning.

Vicky was about to answer her when Tammy’s cell phone rang

“Aren’t you going to answer that?” Vicky frowned.

Tammy just gave her a weird look before answering it

“Tammy?” Quick, we need your help.

I don’t know what happened all I remember

is going to ring Vicky’s doorbell

And the next thing I knew I was waking up in her basement

next to the rest of the gang.”

 Tommy start to explain

“What?” That’s crazy!” Tammy cried out

“We tried getting out. But there’s a black shadow blocking the door and.”

“Hello?” Tommy?” Hello, are you there?”

 Tammy yelled into the phone.

But the only thing that answered her back was a loud ghostly laugh

Then the line went dead

What's going on?

Chapter 6:

“Well, what did he say?” Vicky asked impatiently

“He told me that they were trapped inside your basement.

And wants us to help them.” Tammy answered

“That’s nuts, what do you mean that they’re trapped?”

How did they get down in my basement in the first place?”

 Vicky frowned

“How do I know?”

Why don’t we just go down there and find out.”

Tammy shrugged

“Umm, yah okay, just wait here for a second.

While I go get us a couple of flashlight.” Vicky told her

 A minute later she returned

Tammy just gave her another weird look before she took the flashlight

 that Vicky handed her

“Why do we need these?”

“Umm, it’s kind of dark down there.

And plus, we don’t even know what’s going on so,

it’s better to be safe than sorry.” Vicky answered her shrugging.

They slowly made their way towards the basement

Tammy opened the door and reached for the light switch and

before she had a chance to flick it on

A bright light flashed in her face and cries of cheers rang from all over

The surprise

Chapter 7:

Tammy was so startled that she almost lost her balance

 and fell down the stairs.

If Vicky didn’t hold on to her.

Vicky laughed as she helped her down the stairs

“Oh my god, you should see your face right now. It’s priceless!”

“I can’t believe that you guys, did all of this.

As soon as my heart stops beating out of my chest

“I’ll be really happy.” Tammy told them.

Daisy went up to her and gave her a big hug

“We’ve been planning this for a while now.

We wanted to do something nice since you had to

conceal your birthday party

“After you broke your paw and had to spend it at the hospital.”

“Yah, but we also wanted to get you back for getting us in trouble

After we sneaked into Honey’s mom shop to catch the ice cream

eating bandit, that never exited!”

” So, when you started telling us that dumb story

 we started texting each other

and decided to act now before

you decided to pull another fast one on us again.”

Tommy laughed

“Oh wow, I’m really sorry,

I never meant for you guys, to get in trouble.

Since we were daring each other to out spook one another that day.

I never thought any trouble would come out of it

“And Vicky, you really deserve an award for your performance.

You really had me freaking out.” Tammy told them.

Then after opening her presents and blowing out the candles on her birthday cake

She gave the gang a big smile and said

“This was the best birthday-get even surprise party ever!”

and I guess we’re all even now

but then again there’s always next year!”
